The Main Event of this year’s Wallonie Series of Poker (WaSOP) held in Namur/Belgium is parallely the Belgian Deepstack Poker Championship and part of the European Deepstack Poker Tour, that has already had stops to England, Austria and Slovenia. Their 500x BB Starting Stack structure with 60 minutes blinds makes it an absolute must for me to check it out and have a shot to become the winner of this 3-day event with two starting days (each with a maximum of 250 players).

Unfortunately the rest of the WaSOP tourneys are all held during the week with a starting time of 2pm, which makes it impossible for me to take even more days off work, travel to Namur and play them. Nevertheless the European Deepstack Poker Tour has announced more stops to major capitals in 2012, so far Dublin is scheduled for February 2012. Therefore I will include the tour to my “Target Events” for now and stay on the lookout for possibilities to maybe even qualify online and keep the buyins lower. If I do not qualify for the events in Namur or e.g. Dublin, I might swap it to the “Direct Live Buyins”, we will see…
